It is strawberry season here in Scotland and I’m loving it. I once ate so many strawberries when I was little I ended up with a rash. I was trusted to water a neighbours strawberries and was also invited to help myself – I probably ate my body weight in them. Luckily I seem to have grown out of my sensitivity to strawberries so I can enjoy them again.
Sometimes the easiest and simplest recipes are the best and this is one of my favourite smoothies. I love the vibrant colour and the creaminess from the banana and dairy free milk.
If you are short on time in the morning you can prep this smoothie the night before and store it in a sealed cup to enjoy first thing.
