I’m down in London and Exeter for a few days visiting friends. We went to Borough Food market this morning which was great fun. There was a lot of gluten and dairy free options available to buy for lunch, including paella, curries, bhajis, salt beef, Japanese rice bowls and a little free from bakery for a treat afterwards. The majority of stalls had the allergens clearly marked and some were entirely gluten free.
I shared a paella and a veggie curry with my friend and I have a giant peanut butter cookie in my handbag for later!
Anyway back to today’s recipe, I still enjoy a smoothie at snack time but tend to add in some new flavours when it is wintery outside. I’ve used some seasonal flavours in this healthy chocolate and peppermint smoothie. I alternate between this a gingerbread smoothie and a mocha smoothie which I’ll share the recipe for soon.
