I try to have either my homemade granola or cereal bars as they make perfect packed breakfasts to take on the go with me. I usually pair them with a banana and/or yoghurt. I have quite a few cereal bar recipes on the website already but I can’t stop experimenting with new ingredients. This one is super quick to make as it is a no bake recipe, so perfect to through together on a Sunday night before the busy week.

This dish came about for having a few random ingredients that I wanted to use up. It tasted great and thought it was a good little idea for a quick lunch so thought I would share it with you all. I used the Warbuton’s mini gluten free wraps, Sacla’s free from basil pesto and Violife’s dairy free cheddar style cheese.

Morning everyone

If you are looking for inspiration for a special Sunday brunch then try my recipe for gluten and dairy free lemon and blueberry waffles. Don’t worry if you don’t have a waffle iron you can use this recipe to make pancakes.

There has been a bit of excitement over the last couple of days as a little hedgehog has been living in the garden, I felt connected to him when I learnt they also had problems with dairy products!

I’m really trying to focus on my upcoming book – Cake, today I’ve been typing up recipes and doing a bit of photography. I made summer berry crumble slices and a dark chocolate and raspberry cake. I think I underestimated how long it would take me to develop, document and photograph 50 new gluten and dairy free cake recipes. I’ll keep you posted on when it will be made available through iTunes and Amazon.

Gluten and Dairy Free Gooey Raspberry Brownies

I love my brownies gooey and sticky – it makes for a tasty brownie but a bit of an ugly picture! I’ve taken my basic gluten and dairy free brownie recipe and folded through some beautiful raspberries. The sharpness of the raspberries perfectly offsets the sweetness of the chocolatey brownies.

Gluten and Dairy Free Cinnamon Swirl Cheesecake

I made a couple of gluten and dairy free cheesecakes this weekend – one a snickers style cheesecake bar which I photographed for my new book and this one. This cheesecake kind of tastes like a cinnamon bun swirled deliciously through a baked New York cheesecake.

Hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to a well deserved weekend. The inspiration for this recipe came from a couple of bananas that needed eaten. I decided to make some banana muffins for a Friday breakfast treat and to try out a new recipe. I reached for my favourite combination of peanut butter and chocolate and used these as the flavour base for my muffins. I hope you like them.

Gluten and Dairy Free Creamy Banana Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seed pudding is fast becoming one of my favourite breakfasts for a number of reasons. One it is super quick to make and I can do it the night before, second it is really easy to make gluten and dairy free and third the favour possibilities are endless.

I do admit that sometimes it doesn’t look the most appetising but if you can get beyond that it is a really tasty start to the day.

Gluten and Dairy Free Mini Sage Loaves

I haven’t actually posted a new bread recipe for a while, I seemed a bit obsessed with breakfast and cake recipes. Definitely need to focus a bit more on the lunch, appetiser, mains and bread sections of my website.

This is a super easy bread to make as it is yeast free so you don’t need to spend a lot of time waiting on the yeast activating. I’ve made little mini loaves that are perfect for serving with soup or as fancy little rolls. You can also make this recipe as one large loaf but increase the time in the oven to 40-45 minutes.
