While perusing the aisles in Marks and Spencers I was pleasantly surprised to find some of their coeliac range in the fresh produce section. They are now offering a gluten (and dairy free) fishcake and chicken and mushroom bake as part of their Made without Wheat range.
They are priced at £1.70 for a packet of two or two packets for £3. I’ve tried the chicken bakes and was pretty impressed. It is basically mashed potato with shredded chicken and mushroom through it coated in crisp rice crumbs. The salmon fishcakes are waiting for me in the freezer to try another day.
They are a great quick meal as they oven cook in 15 minutes, very handy for busy days. Well worth a try if you are gluten and/or dairy free.
