Spotlight on …. Ilumi World

Image Text

I’m obviously an advocate for home cooking as I run a recipe blog but even with the best will in the world it is unrealistic to expect that every meal of everyday is made from scratch. For people with food allergies you lose the convenience of popping into the supermarket for that sneaky pizza after a very long day when the last thing you want to do is stand in the kitchen.

That is where Ilumi World comes in.

A lot of gluten and dairy free prepared food is very expensive and only tastes a little like its ‘normal’ counterpart. Last Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a large hamper from a good friend packed fully of Ilumi World goodies. Ilumi specialise in dinners, soups and cooking sauces that are all gluten, dairy and nut free. They have an ever expanding product range from Thai Chicken Soup to Beef Meatballs from Spanish Vegetable Rice to Lamb Kofta.

The food is pressure cooked and comes in easy to store pouches with good expiry dates and no need to keep in the fridge. The pouches are clearly marked with all the ingredients so you can see exactly what you are eating.

As well as tasting great the dinners are very reasonably priced at £2.75 and the website regularly runs promotions with great discounts, the last order I placed they were running a 25% off deal.

They are a life saver after a busy day, easy to take with you when visiting someone last minute or are great to take with you for emergencies when travelling.
